Bruce Wayne attends a costume party campaign fund raiser for gubernatorial candidate Evan Gregory. But during the party an unattended guest shows up: The Joker. The Joker demands that everyone in the room vote for him at the upcoming election or he will kill them all. Bruce sneaks away and manages to change into Batman. The Joker offers Batman a position on his political staff, but Batman refuses. The Joker manages to escape but Two-Face learns of the Joker’s scheme to take control of the governor’s race and plans to kill the Joker.
